NATURAL SWIMMING POOLS IN GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN
KAINZENBAD
The natural outdoor pool on the south-eastern outskirts of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is an excursion destination with many facets. The idyllically situated bathing lake with an area of 12,500 square meters offers bathing fun for young and old, for water sports enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation. The view of the world-famous ski jump and the Wank mountain do the rest.
As the lake is constantly swirled by mountain water, the water temperature is usually a refreshing 18 to 22 degrees - simply wonderful.
LAKE PFLEGERSEE
An absolute insider tip: the Pflegersee lake directly below the Königstand in the Kramer massif. The natural moorings and old trees are reminiscent of a historic and wildly romantic bathing spot. Colorful rowing boats and a small jetty create a very special charm.
Nice to know: The small moorland lake is said to be particularly good for skin and hair. Why not give it a try!
LAKE RIESSERSEE
Lake Riessersee is a gem full in history with a unique mountain view. As the name patron of the local ice hockey team and competition venue of the 1936 Winter Olympics, the enchanting lake is well known - and loved - in winter sports!
Here you can unwind, relax and swim or enjoy a fine sprizz at the kiosk. And on a clear day, you can even see the Zugspitze massif reflected in the water.
Please note: there is a charge for parking at the Riessersee, please have coins ready. Parking spaces are limited, there is also a footpath to the lake or you can use your bike!

RAFTING ON THE LOISACH RIVER
An experience that leaves only enthusiastic vacationers behind: Rafting in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Equipped with a paddle, neoprene suit, life jacket and helmet, you set off on an exciting raft through the crystal-clear course of the Loisach river. Suitable for all first-time whitewater rafters. The stand up paddle school from Werdenfelser Land offers mobile SUP rental, courses for beginners and advanced paddlers, white water taster days and SUP rafting.

CANYONING ALPINE TOUR
In this fascinating sport, we follow the course of steep mountain streams together and encounter spectacular waterfalls, narrow gorges and deep waterholes. Equipped like mountaineers and wrapped in warm neoprene suits, we defy every obstacle.
The start is very flat until the gorge drops steeply downwards. You rope down yourself ... the water splashes down on you in the middle of the section. Take a deep breath and keep going!
CANYONINGTOUR FÜR ANFÄNGER
During canyoning, we follow the natural course of a river through a gorge. Well equipped with wetsuits, harness and helmet, you will experience an adventure in the mountains. What can you expect? Swimming, jumping, abseiling and sliding, lots of fun and nice people.
We start by getting proper dressed in our camp, then there is a briefing and we can start the tour with a jump into the water!
